Kendrick Lamar doesn’t use social media. Over the last couple years, he’s transitioned from using Twitter to crack jokes at his TDE comrades to pretty much not using it at all.

Kenny returned to the social media landscape Thursday morning, though, deleting all of his Instagram posts and uploading an image with a black screen and the Roman numeral IV in the middle of it. (He’s since deleted that, too.)

Outside of the post, no other information was released, which fed into rumors of his next album arriving sooner than expected.

Now, after a day of waiting, we’ve got our answer. No album, yet, but Kendrick just released “The Heart pt.4.”

As if you need any extra incentive other than it being the fourth installment of a fan favorite series, K. Dot is snappin’ on this one. There’s plenty to decipher too, as King Kendrick doesn’t bite his tongue…

My fans can’t wait for me to son ya punk ass, and crush your whole lil shit/ I’ll Big Pun ya punk ass you a scared little bitch/ Tip-toeing around my name, nigga, ya lame/ and when I get at you homie don’t you just tell me you was just playin’

After four minutes of rhyming over several beat switches (provided by Alchemist, DJ Dahi, Syk Sense and AxlFolie), Kendrick ends the track with a final warning: “y’all got until April the 7th to get your shit together.”

Looks like that “very urgent” album is arriving soon!

(P.S. Where’s the SZA album at?)
