I’ve gotta say, it’s a wonderful day to be from the West! I mean, every day is special, but today we’re being treated to projects from some of the coast’s rising prospects. Not only did G Perico drop All Blue and Nef the Pharaoh drop The Chang Project, but AD and Sorry Jaynari are back with an official follow-up to last summer’s By The Way.

Since his DopeHouse debut in 2015 with his Blue:89 mixtape, AD has been one of our favorites from the West — from rocking tracks with The Game, Skeme, and Dave East to doing his thing over Cali classics, the Compton native doesn’t know the meaning of chill. And to be honest, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Led by “Basic” with O.T. Genasis, “Crip Lives Matter” with G Perico and “Leakin” with Wiz Khalifa, Last Of The ’80s checks in at 10 tracks in length with bonus features from Wiz, Kool John, Tory Lanez, Kid Ink and Eric Bellinger.
