“YOUNG CHOP ON THE BEAT!”
Those five words, uttered by an overly excited child, would signify the organized chaos Young Chop would bring with his productions. Arguably the sonic architect for Chicago’s infamous drill music sound, Chop was responsible for the nihilistic ascension of Chief Keef, Lil Reese and several others.
Chop will release his new project, King Chop 2, tonight (January 12th). Stepping into the booth, the 12-track project will boast features from Keef, Lil Durk, Bump J and others. The highlight of the project is “I Need A Break,” with Keef and a surprising guest appearance from PARTYNEXTDOOR. Listen to it below.
