Welcome to Edgewood.

After running through 2017 with 16 in the clip, Trouble slid into the new year with a new deal and is not looking back.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that the Atlanta rapper inked a joint venture with Interscope and Mike WiLL Made It’s Ear Drummer Records. The news also came with a gritty visual for “Real is Rare” and an announcement that Trouble and Mike WiLL would be releasing a joint project.

“No other producer x artist combo can pull off what Trouble and I are about to do,” Mike WiLL said. “I really felt like it was time for a level up for Trouble – I’ve been watching his grind for years now, since we were young as fuck, coming up in Atlanta on the music scene, trying to make something out of nothing. Trouble is the only person from the city who’s going to give you that raw, pure, honest, real rap, mixed with originality, new flavor, new flows and new lingo. He has the grind, work ethic, and dedication to back it up and the city knows.”

Since there’s no sense in having people wait, Trouble and Mike WiLL come through with their Edgewood album.

Locked in at 16 tracks in total, including “Bring It Back” with Drake, the project—which is based on a true story—also features The Weeknd, Quavo, Fetty Wap, Boosie Badazz, and Low Down Dirty Black.
