Producer extraordinaire Adrian Younge made his welcome return with his ambitious project Voices of Gemma. The trio of Younge, opera singer Brooke DeRosa and jazz vocalist Rebecca Englehart made for an interesting combination: imagine listening to Younge’s Luke Cage productions, now backed by ethereal, angelic voices.
Younge has now released a video for the single “Stranger By The Sea.” The video depicts Brooke and Rebecca in a dreamlike state imagining a stranger whose “kiss was but a drop in this ocean of time.” In other words, it’s exactly as you think it would resemble.
