Last month, Kanye took to Twitter to announce that on May 25th we would finally be getting a Pusha T album. Considering the fact that Ye is top-5 least trustworthy with release dates, along with his newfound residence in the sunken place, many took this announcement with a grain of salt.

However, earlier this week, Pusha’s manager confirmed that we would indeed receive a new album this week. As excitement from fans began to build up, many couldn’t wait to get their hands on the highly-anticipated King Push album, but it seems like Push had other plans.

Scrapping the King Push album title, Push revealed his album would be titled DAYTONA.

“I changed the album title from ‘King Push’ to ‘DAYTONA’ because I felt it didn’t represent the overall message of this body of work,” Pusha said on Twitter. “‘DAYTONA’ represents the fact that I have the luxury of time. That luxury only comes when u have a skill set that your confident in.”

Standing at 7 tracks long, the new album includes two features from Rick Ross and Kanye West. And with less than two days until the album’s release, only high expectation should be held.

  1. If You Know You Know
  2. The Games We Play
  3. Hard Piano f. Rick Ross
  4. Come Back Baby
  5. Santeria
  6. What Would Meek Do? f. Kanye West
  7. Infrared

UPDATE: On top of revealing the tracklist, Pusha also sat down with Angie Martinez to discuss the album, working with Kanye West, his relationship with Nas, G.O.O.D. Music, and more.
