So… things just took the sharpest of lefts, didn’t it?
Following her initial rant following the No. 2 debut of QUEEN, Nicki Minaj took her issues with Travis Scott to another level. Earlier today (Aug. 21), on her Beats 1 show Queen Radio, Minaj had words — to put it lightly — towards the rapper.
“Travis Scott wins Hoe N***a of the Week, by a landslide,” she unloaded. “He out here selling f***ing clothes got y’all thinking he selling f***ing music.
“What we’re not gonna do is have this f***ing Auto-Tune man come up in here selling f***ing sweaters and telling y’all he sold half a million f***ing albums, ’cause he didn’t,” she continued.
She once again hurled insults in the direction of his partner, Kylie Jenner, as well.
“You stupid f**k! You’re a f***ing man! You got your homeboy talking for you, your girlfriend posting tour passes saying you sold albums—stop it! Knock it the f**k off!” she said.
These statements followed her claims that she was “the new Harriet Tubman” for advocating for artists on streaming services.
“I fought for streaming services to count toward billboard when alotta n***az stayed quiet,” she said on Twitter.
And while Minaj did win the Best Hip Hop Award at the 2018 MTV VMAs, she was even embroiled in some controversy when she claimed that MTV would not let her perform “FEFE” with Tekashi 6ix9ine during her set.
“I wanted him to perform with me at the VMAs and somewhere along the line he didn’t get approved to perform by the powers that be,” Minaj said. “I don’t want anyone to think for a second that I wouldn’t invite him to perform his hit record. I want everyone to know my character. I really fought. It is what it is.”
Man, in between Robert Glasper and Nicki Minaj, Lipton must be seeing an increase in sales from all the tea being spilled.
