Kanye West Has Filed A Lawsuit Against JAY-Z & Roc-A-Fella Records

Yeah, we ain’t ever getting Watch The Throne 2. And I’m not even mad.

TMZ has reported that Kanye West has filed a pair of lawsuits against both JAY-Z‘s Roc-A-Fella Records and EMI Publishing. Against the Roc, West is asking for “declaration of his rights over a dispute he’s having and he wants money,” while the EMI suit — essentially, an extension of the suit he filed against the company in April 2018 — demands payment for a contract he signed in 2003 what would allow “him to produce songs for other artists, which he hasn’t been paid for.” The suit claims that by the end of 2011 Kanye had written or co-written over 200 songs, and had not been paid.

Interestingly enough, Jay infamously sold his entire stake in Roc-A-Fella Records back in 2004, and has zero involvement with the label at this point.

I… have no words for this one.
