I have to attend more than one festival this year. In 2014 I only hit two: one was SXSW, which I’d been attending for the last five years prior to 2015 when I skipped it; the other was a festival in North Carolina that I can’t remember the name of, in which I braved a monsoon to catch OutKast because I wrecked my foot at the gym and couldn’t catch their set at Governors Ball.
This year, I’ll try to make things different, and judging by the variety of festivals, concerts, and everything in between it’d be a huge disappointment if I don’t catch any. The likes of Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, Run The Jewels, Kevin Gates, RATKING, Kaytranada, and a whole heap of others will perform at the weeklong Roskilde Festival, one of the largest music festivals in Europe (Denmark, to be exact).
