Murs’ Have A Nice Day has been out for just under two months now, and the promotion continues with the video for the “Just A Friend”-influenced “The Worst.”
If you haven’t heard the song before, it pays homage to the production, flow and lyrics to Biz Markie’s classic song. Just like Markie, Murs gets involved with a girl who ruins him, except unlike Markie who thought he had a main chick, Murs’ side girl was too hard to resist. He says to the woman, “you bring the worst out of me,” and I can see why. She’s a baaaaaaaad woman. In the end, Murs realizes what’s right, but it might be too late.
