Azizi Gibson – “Enemies”

Azizi Gibson has “Enemies.”

On the emcee’s newest single (following “Slave Ship” f. Waka Flocka), he analyzes his relationships with his acquaintances — or former acquaintances. It seems like it’s not one person who cause all his anger but former friends and partners. He spits,”Every day I think of you, you were my friend, we my nigga ’til the very fucking end.” Ambiguous enough, it’s clear there’s multiple people who did him wrong. The song follows a slow, drugged out tempo produced by Kamandi before it explodes into a painful, synth-filled realm of emotion where Gibson cuts ties with everyone who used him.

“Enemies” is the second single off Gibson’s preHISTORIC Till Death, and you can listen below.
