Yep, we know.

We know that MTV’s VMAs are a farce, a Viacom-manufactured awards show that ultimately holds no weight on the actual business of music. We’re well – and painfully – aware of their incredulously cultural appropriating ways, while they pretend to have some kind of moral conscience with shows like White People and their idiotic “White Squad” campaign.

No, seriously, MTV aired this during the VMAs telecast…

… while letting this…

miley-WTF-booooo

… host their show.

All eye rolls aside, both Jeezy and Rick Ross are at least attempting to help us forget about the flagrant violations of last night by simultaneously announcing that they will release… something later today…

Announcement Tomorrow. #biggest #doublem #bossbach

Yep, we know that these two aren’t going to fully wash the stink of the VMAs off of us. But hey, would you rather listen to their new music, or Extended Back Meat’s new project?

UPDATE: As promised, Jeezy and Rozay dropped new singles – both announcing new albums in the process! Jeezy’s “GOD” will live on his yet-to-be-titled LP, arriving in November; while Ross’ “Foreclosures” will reside on Black Dollar, dropping THURSDAY.
