Originally rumored to star both Kanye West and Common, Chi-Raq is based on the play Lysistrata, where in an attempt to end a war women went on a sex strike and ended up kick-starting a battle of the sexes showdown. The film has everybody from Jennifer Hudson to Angela Bassett throughout, and it will hit theaters on December 4th (with a subsequent release on Amazon Instant Video to follow after).
