Bishop Nehru continues to bubble in the streets of New York City for a couple years now. As the 19-year-old works on his next album, following his collaboration with MF DOOM and Nehruvia, the rapper releases “MansSin” featuring frequent collaborator Que Hampton.
The video matches the songs ominous mood, which is helped by the clips of serial killer Charles Manson giving a dissertation. The two come with the old-school flow with five syllables rhyming in each line as they discuss the sin of the world from cops killing kids to the plight of the black man. Ultimately, though, Nehru and Hampton realize the only cure to man’s sin, for them, is to write about it and share it with the world. As Manson echoes, they feel their only regret in life will be “not being aware enough.”
