Killer Mike has never been one to hold his tongue when it comes to socio-political issues affecting the community – and country as a whole – today. From discussing the Ferguson issues to providing his thoughts roasting the very existence of Rachel Dolezal, Mike holds nothing back when it comes to speaking his mind.
After tipping his hat to 2016 Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders earlier in the year, Mike spoke at a recent rally for Sanders at the Fox Theater in downtown Atlanta. Giving another of his impassioned speeches, Mike admitted that – while he’s been very vocal about his distrust for both the government and church – after sitting down and speaking with Sanders for he feels that his message of income equality, expanded social programs and higher minimum wages are among the many things needed not only in his community but for the country as a whole.
