We’ve been waiting for Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole to drop their collaborative project for quite sometime now—with little to no promise of when (or if) it will be released. But, now that both artists have albums out, it looks like we might be getting closer.
Hitting the net simultaneously, K. Dot and Cole trade instrumentals and treat us to a pair of “Black Friday” freestyles!
J. Cole is up first with a savage take on Kendrick’s To Pimp a Butterfly single, “Alright” (below). Followed by Kendrick attacking Cole’s 2014 Forest Hills Drive banger, “A Tale of 2 Citiez” (listen here).
Y’all peep the line regarding their joint project? Let’s go!
Wait… what’s that he said about something coming in February?
