SonReal – “Whoa Nilly” (Video)

blame it on Meka January 20, 2016

Vancouver emcee SonReal has a knack for some of the more creative videos in rap. From his one-take shot of “L.A.” to his Napoleon Dynamite spoof “Everywhere We Go” (the latter of which he has won awards for), Son spares no expense at crafting innovative visuals to accompany his music.

He does it once again with his latest, “Whoa Nilly.” Like its namesake, the video is set in the Wild Wild West era. However, it’s more A Million Ways to Die in the West than The Shootist as – while engaged in a duel – Son begins to rap which prompts others watching the shootout to join in. Things get only wackier from there. Watch the Peter Huang-directed funnies below.1
