Vince Staples had himself a fantastic 2015, gaining himself a large amount of ears with the release of his debut LP, Summertime ’06. The raw story of growing up in Long Beach, California, started with “Lift Me Up,” which now has a visual treatment. Shot throughout landmarks in his hometown, Staples raps his ruthless and honest bars of the state of the union while slowly being suspended in the air — a visual representation for Staples needing to get his voice heard.
