With Jack Garratt‘s Phase just three days away, the every new sound coming from the British producer’s LP isn’t disappointing.
Following “Breathe Life,” “Worry” and “Fire” (along with singles from previous projects including “The Love Your Given” and ‘Weathered), “Surprise Yourself” just adds to the list of emotional and sonically enthralling roller coasters Jack Garratt continues to take listeners on with each play.
Garratt premiered the song on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1, where he said he’s been working on the song, along with the album, for over three years. During the interview, he also mentioned how much he’s worked on the melodies of the album, and as more songs come out, it’s instantly recognizable. Phase is going to be such a nice listen.
