What happens when One culture takes over another? What happened when Christianity met the indigenous peoples in the New World? What happened when the Ottomon Turks invaded Constantinople?
This picture was taken at the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul, Turkey.
Here is one of the Original Mosaics that was plastered over after Constantinople was conquered by the Turks. The Church was converted in a Mosque, and the name of city Constantinople was changed to Istanbul.
In the early 20th century, the Mosque was converted into a museum and experts were brought in to remove the plaster to reveal the original art work.

With 4/5 of the project made up of original recordings from a decade ago, One Be Lo and Bean One felt the need to speak on a few of today’s issues as well.
On the intro track, “Water Guns (Lead is Water BORN),” Lo directs his attention to the ongoing Water Crisis in Flint, Michigan. While America continues to witness police killing innocent black people—filling them with lead bullets—the song compares the shootings to the lead-contaminated water that has been filling Flint’s residents.
