For whatever reason, there’s this stupid non-controversy about the upcoming reboot of the film Ghostbusters where all the original leads — played by Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, Dan Aykroyd, and Harold Ramis — are now replaced by women: Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones. Apparently, there are some who are upset that a thirty-year-old movie being remade stars said women (because, chauvinism), rather than the fact that Hollywood is so out of and starved for ideas that they’re remaking a thirty-year-old movie in the first place.
Either way, none of this has anything to do with the latest song from Bodega BAMZ. It’s just that the song title and accompanying artwork reminded me of such. Anyways, listen to the track below.
