Fat Joe — along with Remy Ma — recently visited the offices of XXL Magazine to talk their upcoming album Platas O Plomo (the album’s true translation is Silver Or Lead, but it makes metaphorical sense that it also goes by Money or Bullets). While Joey was there, though, he diverted from the album to regale them about how he and his late friend Big Pun went “All The Way Up…” to the big house.
In 1998, the Terror Squad members we bagged for assault and robbery charges, after they (allegedly) introduced a guy to a baseball bat and gracefully removed his jewelry during the New York’s 1998 Puerto Rican Day Parade. Joe then goes on to say that while locked up Big Pun was more interested in the fact they made the papers then actually getting out. Watch the humorous exchange below.
