Just when you may have thought Logic was simply dropping off a loosie before tour when he delivered “Flexicution” last week, it turns out the DMV rapper was just using it as a warm up.
Tuesday afternoon, Logic took to Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show to debut “Wrist” featuring fellow regional native Pusha T.
In an interview with Lowe before the song played, Logic said he was inspired by a drug lord persona he created, and, naturally, Pusha T was a natural choice for a rhyming partner. Zane Lowe proceeded to run the song back four times, because when Pusha T is rapping about moving bricks, you make sure the world has enough time to tune it and hear you play it.
