Atmosphere Announces ‘Fishing Blues’ LP, New Tour + “Ringo” Video

In their two decade-long career producer Ant and rapper Slug have been one of independent hip hop’s leaders, as Atmosphere have delivered quality goods throughout.

During the last several months the duo have been releasing seemingly random loosies, from “Fireflies” to “My Best Half,” and now they have announced the impending release of their seventh studio album Fishing Blues.

Out on August 12th via their own Rhymesayers Entertainment imprint, Blues is slated to feature the likes of DOOM, Aesop Rock, Kool Keith, The Grouch, and more.

They have also released the first video from the project, “Ringo.” The KRON-directed visual is a metaphorical depiction of the ideal that today’s pop culture heroes are tomorrow’s joke.
