Snoop Dogg’s new album COOLAID arrives July 1st, and thanks to an eager staffer at Beats 1 (or those we don’t speak of), six of project’s 20 tracks have surfaced online.

I won’t wanna ruin the fun, but I couldn’t overlook posting this bad boy. Snoop and Just Blaze?! Checkmate.

Well, that, and the fact that Snoop couldn’t help but rep the set in the studio with the banger blasting in the background.

“I was very excited to find out that that’s the direction he’s taking with this album,” Just Blaze said during an interview with Billboard. “And just coincidentally, some of the stuff that I’ve been working on lately just kind of felt like an updated version of that old Death Row sound, kind of an updated G-Funk. I just started working on these tracks and they had a lot of those similar elements, just felt like newer versions of that feeling.”

Dust off your chucks and press play below. Pre-orders for COOLAID are available on iTunes — and, based off what we’ve heard, Snoop’s got some heat on deck.

“I just like to be involved in a project whether it directly benefits me or not,” Just Blaze continued. “So if somebody has a great song and I have ideas and I feel like I can make the song better, I’m going to offer those ideas.”

I’ve got an idea. Someone lock Just Blaze and any West Coast artist of their choosing in a studio together and have them create an entire album of the updated G-Funk. Because, this shit bangs.
