Fresh off contributing production to the opening track and “Gotta Be Classic” off Diggin In the Crates’ D.I.T.C. Studios compilation, Massachusetts’ own DJ Manipulator locks in with New York emcee Conway for “2 Drums.”
Backed by a simple drum break (hence the song’s title), Conway gets busy, revealing his frustrations with the younger crop of “rappers” and the permanent sh*t stains they’re leaving on the culture of Hip-Hop, while also standing on his square and confidently proving why he’s one of New York’s best kept secrets.
“2 Drums” is set to appear on DJ Manipulator’s upcoming album Stranger Than Paradise, out sometime next year.
