De La Soul is hip-hop royalty, and they further proved that by scoring another No. 1 rap album with and the Anonymous Nobody… — their crowd-funded and ninth studio album — released at the end of August.
In rotation for a month now, the trio team up with another highly influential and acclaimed group — The Roots — and Estelle on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to help give the album an extra push.
The dozens of artists took to the stage performing “Memory Of… (Us),” which has Estelle dominating the first half with a couple hooks and a verse before Dave and Posdnous deliver their mature and lovelorn bars.
