Fans were upset Friday when they learned another TDE album (Lance Skiiiwalker’s) would be dropping that wasn’t Ab-Soul’s. His last project — These Days… — arrived in 2014, and the label’s dropped seven (soon to be eight) projects since then.
Top Dawg, the CEO, calmed worries saying he still plans on releasing Ab-Soul’s album this year — it’s just not completely finished yet.
kan we shoot a few videos and get his artwork done? I’m just asking https://t.co/WBLxm0Lnwg

After sharing the video for “Huey Knew” last week, though, Soul took to Instagram to tease his upcoming work just a shade more.
Monday morning, he posted a picture with the caption “10,000 Hour Rule” with him posed in front of a mixing board looking up at a screen. An image of a file seemingly recorded at “Dr. Dre’s Crib” was plastered on the screen revealing Soul has a song with Dr. Dre in the vaults.
Whenever Soul’s album does land, we’ll certainly be on the lookout for this collaboration.
