Following his stint in prison, Prodigy discovered a new talent: cooking. Well, it was discovered out of necessity, as eating the rancid and contaminated prison food was, quite literally, bad for his health.
He’s turned that talent into a burgeoning career, even releasing the cookbook Commissary Kitchen: My Infamous Prison Cookbook. With the book out now, he joins VICE’s “Munchies” viral series to whip up one of the delicacies he learned while locked up: BBQ salmon. The 12-minute tutorial is quite impressive, and it can be seen below.
