Yesterday (December 20th), Top Dawg Entertainment held their annual Holiday Concert & Toy Giveaway at the Nickerson Gardens public housing apartment complex in Watts, CA. Fans were treated to a free concert from the entire roster, which included a rare performance from all four members of Black Hippy: Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q.
During their performance of “Vice City,” Kendrick switched things up and dropped a freestyle rather than his original 90059 verse.

The event was a success, once again, with Jay Rock commenting on the experience.
“It means a lot,” he told Rap-Up. “It feels good to see us doing some good. When people look at the projects, they know what it is, but it feels good to put a smile on people’s faces…It ain’t nothing like doing good in your backyard and providing for the less fortunate. Being able to come back and do that is a blessing.”
On top of Black Hippy, Isaiah Rashad, SZA and latest TDE signee Lance Skiiiwalker also took the stage. O.T. Genasis, Wiz Khalifa, and A$AP Rocky each made appearances as well to perform a few highlights from their catalogs.
Following his AMEXxKendrick concert in Brooklyn, K. Dot also crashed The Weeknd’s VEVO concert in Los Angeles and performed “Sidewalks” alongside him.
