Lil B has joined the likes of P.O.S, Kipp Stones, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Rhymefest and has contributed to the video series for Marvel’s Black Panther comic book.
The Based God’s self-produced song, “Enter The Depths,” soundtracks episode 10 of hero’s “A Nation Under Our Feet” storyline. With the storyline coming to an end, writer Ta-Nehisi Coates expounds on the tale that has left the Panther’s homeland of Wakanda war-torn. Lil B’s song is an aural representation of they storyline, eschewing his normally atmospheric and rough-edged sound for something that is futuristic and uptempo.
