B. Bravo – “Summer Love (Ride the Wave)“

blame it on JES7 March 30, 2017

Red Bull Music Academy alumnus B. Bravo’s vision of blending multiple genres of music, including jazz, R&B, funk and dance music has been fully realized, with singles like “Freak It” and “Can’t Keep My Hands Off You.” As the release date for his upcoming Paradise album draws closer, the Los Angeles-based musician pulls another set of tricks out of his bag with the ultra-groovy single “Summer Love (Ride the Wave).”

While his previous single “Freak It” was packed full of heavy funk and did its best to pay homage to the Ohio Players and Newcleus, the multifaceted “Summer Love” plays out as a sensational love letter to Zapp & Roger, and is one of those habit-forming songs that can be adapted to just about any scenario: a summer backyard BBQ, a late night drive out in the town or a day out on the beach.

Stream the single below and pre-order Paradise, out April 7th via Bastard Jazz on Bandcamp.
