Maybe he’s bothered by all the recent Step Brothers talk?

Starlito and Don Trip released their third installment of their Step Brothers series, and G-Eazy and Carnage released a project called Step Brothers, but the true Step Brothers in my eyes will always be Evidence and Alchemist.

Today, the former, whose last bit of music arrived in the form of 2014’s Lord Steppington album with Alchemist, returns with “Throw It All Away,” produced by none other than his fellow Step Brother.

“I write to Alchemist, ’cause others don’t inspire me,” the LA rapper spits, re-counting his last three years away from the limelight while leaving a message that he’s ready to release music on a more consistent basis: “Got some money, I’mma blow it all today. They say, ‘Michael, don’t throw it all away,’ and my reply was, ‘there’s more on the way.’ When I said it, I was walking it the rain.”
