The year is 2000.

The country did not fall apart because of the Y2K bug. Metallica initiated their war against Napster, filing a lawsuit for copyright infringement. And Sony’s PlayStation 2 debuted across the country.

In 2000, Tim Westwood invited none other than Big Daddy Kane to his studios, and over Prodigy and Alchemist’s “Keep It Thoro” instrumental — quite literally, the most “freestyled over” beat of that era — King Asiatic Nobody’s Equal does what he does best.
