T.Y.E – “Eternity” (Video)

We introduced T.Y.E to the DopeHouse a couple months ago with “Unusual” — a showcase of the Dallas native’s opera roots and grimy rapping persona. Now, with his album set to drop next month, T.Y.E drops the project’s next single, “Eternity.”

Where T.Y.E didn’t entirely seem in control of himself on “Unusual,” “Eternity” shows a far more poised and cognizant artist far more in control of the demons trying to drag him down.

The video shows T.Y.E rapping on a train on his way to an opera performance, where the song switches in tone once he gets on stage. The end of the clip, there’s a preview of T.Y.E in an Eddie Murphy-influenced outfit, prepping a video for a song of the same name. He reference Murphy — even his laugh — multiple times on “Eternity.”
