“All-American boy band” Brockhampton — a.k.a. the group featuring the likes of Kevin Abstract, Matt Champion, Romil and others — made their debut last year with their All-American Trash mixtape.

Many of the aforementioned members have had their clout increase since said mixtape (including Abstract, who released his stellar debut American Boyfriend last year), the group will return with another mixtape in June.

Over the weekend, Brockhampton released the first single from the upcoming project, “FACE.” Not nearly as brash as a song like “DIRT,” “FACE” sees members Dom McLennon, JOBA, Champion and Ameer Vann humming stories of falling in and out and being confused about love. While each member sings or raps their part in the video (directed by Abstract), the other members destroy a whole bunch of shit in the background — because even when their music is soothing and intimate, they’re still a bit provocative.
