Producer Big Ghost Ltd. has become known for the art of the collaborative album. The well-known former DopeHouse commenter translated to producing music, first popping up with Westside Gunn and Conway on their collaborative Griselda Ghost EP. After that came an end-of-the-year treat in 2016 with Vic Spencer, The Ghost of Living.

Now, the NYC producer looks to his own city for his latest rapper-producer collaboration, linking with Hus Kingpin for the 11-track Cocaine Beach mixtape.

Every song, save for the first two (the intro and “Coke Casa“), has at least one feature. The guests range from Vic Spencer to Planet Asia to Vinnie Paz as all artists involved detail their experiences growing up surrounded by drugs, violence and Funk Flex bombs.

“The vibe on this project is flat out what you see on the cover yo,” Big Ghost said of the album on SoundCloud. “The soundscapes of that 80s crack epidemic.”
