Freddie Gibbs‘s You Only Live 2wice project is a snapshot of his life and feelings during and after being incarcerated in Europe for crimes he didn’t commit. One of the album’s songs was dedicated to his baby’s mother and how she “stayed solid as a rock” while he was locked up.
The video for “Andrea” sees Gibbs traveling through the mountains, sections of which are set ablaze. He’s recollecting on his time in jail, but the video soon transitions to his jail cell as he gets into more detail of what was going on inside his head during the outro.
