Mr. Porter — a producer/rapper also known as Kon Artis, who’s produced hits for Eminem, 50 Cent, Royce 5’9″ and more — is the latest contestant in Mass Appeal’s Rhythm Roulette challenge.
The D12 rapper switched things up a bit for his challenge. Citing the fact he was never rich enough to afford more than one record as a kid, he only selected one record to make a beat out of while blindfolded in Amoeba Records as opposed to the usual three. So what was his choice? Golden Girls’s Silver Convention — a disco record from 1977.
