D’Angelo announced last month he’s releasing a remastered version of his debut album, Brown Sugar, on Friday.
Along with the re-release will come 16 (!!) remixes of varying cuts of the 10-track album in addition to other acapella and instrumental tracks. It’ll also feature a new 20-age booklet with photographs and an essay from Nelson George discussing what the album meant to music.
Today, via Complex, D’Angelo shares three of the remixes. The remixes are: “Cruisin’ (Who’s Fooling Who Mix),” “Brown Sugar (Incognito Molasses Remix)” and “Me And Those Dreamin’ Eyes Of Mine (Two Way Street Mix),” which was originally flipped by DJ Premier.
