We’ve been trying to tell y’all about Boogie for years now. And thanks to a new deal with Shady Records, the West Coast rapper is finally getting the look he’s deserved.

Fresh off holding his own alongside Conway and Benny during their BET cypher and blessing the LA Leakers with a freestyle, Boogie stopped by Sway in the Morning to chop it up about a variety of topics—including the first time he met Eminem, Rihanna praising his “N*gga Needs” video, his progression in music, wanting to use his platform to uplift people not destroy them, and even dives into his personal life for a bit.

On top of the interview, Boogie also dropped some bars over Masta Ace’s “Sittin’ On Chrome” instrumental.

With the ink still drying on the Shady deal, Boogie is currently in “album mode” and is planning to hit us with a project in the near future. Until then, he blessed Sway and the team with a new song called “Came Up.” Check out the premiere below.
