Freeway is back in action with a new album on the horizon.
After assisting Toronto’s Kid Kold on a pair of tracks, Philly Freezer ventured up to the Hot97 building to take part in Funk Flex’s ongoing freestyle series.
Led by an intro from Pain In Da Ass, who you’ll recognize as the voice on some of your favorite Jay-Z intros, Free proceeds to give Fabolous and Jadakiss’ “Soul Food” a verbal beating—confirming his Roc Nation deal and announcing the release date for his next album in the process (Think Free, June 8).
