Considering J. Cole is hotter than ever right now, thanks to the release of KOD, Miguel decided to revisit 2016’s War & Leisure album with a video for his remix of “Come Through and Chill” with the Dreamville captain.
I never subscribed to the idea of the Salaam Remi-laced song ever needing a rap verse, but Cole was tapped, and with his time on the mic, he made sure to provide some thoughts on the political and racial climate of the country.
For the video, directed by Kevin Calero, were presented with a behind-the-scenes look at a seductive video set. With Cole World using a pay phone and the stage to get his message across, Miguel enjoys the company of not one, but two barely dressed ladies. A tough life, indeed.
