With acts ranging from PARTYNEXTDOOR and dvsn to Roy Woods Plaza and Baka Not Nice, Drake‘s latest OVO Sound signee is actually an already-established superstar.
While as a guest at the artist’s Unruly Fest, Drake would reveal that Popcaan has signed to his imprint. “This is something we’ve worked on for a very long time,” he said to the excited crowd in attendance. “I just wanna let everybody know, finally. Officially, 2019 Popcaan is signed to OVO.”
The two have been friends for quite some time, with Poppy working with Drake on an earlier version of “Controlla.” Now, the two aim to make more magic together on a regular basis.
