Weekly Dope: Tierra Whack, BJ the Chicago Kid, Pink Sweat$ & More

Weekly Dope.

With another seven days in the books, we’re back with the 142nd installment of our Weekly Dope playlist.

On the artwork this week, I put together a colorful mix of Pink Sweat$ for his “Coke & Hennessy” single, Cantrell for the “Roses” highlight from his Devil Never Even Lived EP, Tierra Whack for her “Unemployed” bar-work, and Melii for providing some “Fresh Air.”

Playing more like a lost volume of Shake’s Sunday Soothing Sessions, the playlist arrives at 17 tracks in total with only a handful leaning towards rap. We’ve got Don Trip delivering the street gospel, Rich the Kid pouring up with Offset and Big SeanPell wasting no time on the “Bitch Ass” opps, and a pair of songs from the aforementioned Cantrell and Tierra Whack.

From there, Jacquees provides some vintage vibes with Lil Baby, Jamila Woods channels her inner Eartha Kitt, and Celeste ruminates on lost love. Then it’s off the the bedroom with BJ the Chicago Kid, Ryan Trey and Bryson Tiller setting the scene; Jordin Sparks and Elijah Blake (together as 199∞) embracing the moment; Budgie keeping the night rolling; while Rayana Jay and Angelica Vila want more in the morning. Oh, and Tame Impala released their first song in four years.

Check out the playlist below and press play on your preferred streaming platform. Playlists updated every Monday morning on Apple Music, Spotify, and TIDAL.
