After a bout with cancer, Geto Boys member Bushwick Bill has died this weekend (June 9).
Née Richard Stephen Shaw, Bill revealed in May that he had been battling Stage 4 pancreatic cancer and had been undergoing extensive chemotherapy treatments. Bill was slated to hit the road with fellow Geto Boys Scarface and Willie D., however the diagnosis and treatment would ultimately cancel those plans.
After being placed in a medically-induced coma, Bill’s organs began to shut down. He ultimately passed with his family by his side.
He was 52.
