BROCKHAMPTON Return With New Album, ‘GINGER’

blame it on Meka August 23, 2019

When BROCKHAMPTON released their major label debut iridescence, it arrived during a turbulent period of the self-proclaimed boy band’s lives: after signing to RCA Records, former member Ameer Vann was dismissed from the group following a series of sexual assault allegations from multiple women. The group would then cancel several festival dates in its wake.

A year removed from the controversy, the group seems to be back on steady ground, and following the release of Kevin Abstract’s ARIZONA Baby they return with their second major label album (and fifth album overall) GINGER. A 12-song effort, the album features the previously released singles “Boy Bye,” “If You Pray Right” and “I Been Born Again.”
