A member of DJ Premier‘s his The Badder Band, Brady Watt, who recently teamed with Bishop Nehru for their The Real Book Vol. 1 EP, returns with a new solo single, “Monte Carlo.”
Also featuring Pharoahe Monch and Caye, Brady opens up on the creation of the track. “We made this beat while having a party at my house, it was all musicians,” he says. “The track title is taken from a dive bar in my neighborhood that we went to that evening and it captured the vibe of the song. I actually detailed an experience I was having with a girl that I was seeing to Caye and he loosely based his writing on it.”
