David Bars Ushers In New Era of D.I.T.C. with ‘The Bar Code’

blame it on Shake November 22, 2019

For the last two decades, the legendary D.I.T.C. crew have been one of hip hop’s most influential collectives doing it with a expansive catalog that helped introduced us to Ma$e, Cam’ron, Big Pun, Dr. Dre’s “The Message” (peace to Lord Finesse), Remy Ma, Fat Joe, and countless others.

Still Diggin’ in the Crates as we approach 2020, the collective is still going strong as they usher in a new era with the introduction of David Bars.

“David Bars brings back the joy of hearing lyrical skills and wordplay,” DJ Premier boasts. “The competitive voice and confidence he presents makes it exciting to keep that foundation alive for the culture to live longer.”

Hailing from the Bronx, David Bars – fresh off an appearance on D.I.T.C. Studios Vol. 2 – comes through with his new project, The Bar Code.

Equipped with seven tracks, led by the DJ Premier-laced “Beat the Odds,” the EP includes features from Fat Joe and Cory Gunz, over production from Buckwild, Showbiz, Lord Finesse, Da Beatminerz, and Breakbeat Lou.

Oh, and Parks is on the boards, so you know it’s sounding right.
