French Montana Delivers New Album, ‘Montana’

blame it on Shake December 6, 2019

Two years have passed since French Montana release an album (2017’s Jungle Rules), but he hasn’t exactly been quiet in the time span.

From dropping “No Stylist” with Drake to helping with Max B’s return to music and dropping Coke Boys 4, the South Bronx native has kept his name ringing with various singles and promotional moves–like Cîroc.

Fresh out the ICU, after spending nine days hooked up to IVs and monitors following an unidentified health scare, French is letting the “music keep his spirit alive” with the release of his third full-length album, MONTANA.

A two-disc (or, however you’d like to phrase it these days) affair, the album checks in at 20 total tracks–with the second half being populated by all of the previously-released singles like “Slide” with Blueface, “Wiggle It” with City Girls, “Twisted” with Juicy J, A$AP Rocky, and Logic, “Writing on the Wall” with Post Malone and Cardi B, and his last two Drake collaborations. Hell, even “Lockjaw” with Kodak Black (which was released three years ago) is on there as well. The streaming era is a wild wild place.

On top of that, there’s also features from Kevin Gates, Belly, Quavo, Gunna (“Suicide Doors“), and, of course, Max B and the late Chinx.

Enough talking though, check out the album below. And, if you like what you hear, you can add MONTANA wherever you consume music.
